Hello darling! I'm Erika Lyremark. (That’s “Lira-Mark,” just like the Italian and German currencies! I’m a synonym for money, you see.) What a thrill to have you here!
I was a stripper for almost a decade, out in Seattle during the 1990s while I was getting two college degrees (isn't that what all ex-strippers say?).
And I'll never regret doing it. Ever! It helped me build my guts, gave me street smarts and has shown me that I can do anything (except cook + entertain house guests).
However, quitting dancing was one of the hardest things I've ever done.
By year five, I was addicted to the lifestyle, the fast cash and the flexible hours. And even though I knew that the upholstered hell I had created for myself was halting my business potential I kept dancing for another four years (money + convenience can do that to you ya know!)
In 2001, I finally called it quits. And after five months of struggling to find a regular job, I was on a plane back home to Minneapolis to live with my mother and work with my father.
Yes, it came to that. And it turned out that that was exactly what I needed: hardcore accountability and love from the two people who loved me most.
I started working with coaches. I ditched the mental baggage from my past. I helped my father co-create a successful commercial real estate company. I learned how to drive a forklift. I bought my own house. I fell in love. We got a dog. I became a step-mom.
In 2005, my business trajectory shifted. Our real estate company was thriving. I was bored. I wanted to help people. To be creative. To expand my soul. I wanted to create other businesses. A business-coaching empire. A clothing-design empire. A yoga-for-entrepreneurs empire.
I already had an apparel design degree. I had been doing yoga for ten years, Now all I needed was my coaching certification. Six months later I had clients.
I love working with women who are creative + business minded and determined to make 7-figures. Women who love to drop the F-Bomb, eat kale, practice yoga, rock spirituality, sustainability + philanthropy, and would spend their last dime on a designer handbag and a copy of Fast Company!
I'm a risk taker. I moved out of my mom's house before I graduated high-school to live on my own, trekked out to Seattle at 19 with no job lined up in advance, became a stripper, stopped being a stripper, went into business with my dad, moved back in with my mom, got married, and left another lucrative career to fulfill my red carpet dreams and shout out to the world "Hey everybody I used to dance naked and lap dance for money!"
